Sir William Murray Jardine of Applegirth is the 13th Baronet and 24th Chief of Clan Jardine, has served as the President and Chairman of the Jardine Clan Society since 2008. Continuing the legacy established by his predecessors, Sir Alexander (12th Bart) and Col. Sir William (11th Bart), he provides a vital global focal point for all family members, upholding the Clan Society's founding principles and connecting with members worldwide.

His professional background includes two decades of experience in the renewables industry. Since 2022, he has been the Owner and Director of his Solar PV company based in the Lake District, NW England. Adding to his public service, Sir William also recently retired after a 10-year tenure running his local retained Fire Station.

Currently, Sir William dedicates his efforts to his family, his business, the Jardine Clan Society, and the newly established Friends of Applegarth Church charity. Applegirth Church has been the spiritual home of the Jardines of Applegarth for centuries, and Sir William is passionately committed to preserving its history and ensuring its vital role as a community and family focal point for both current and future generations.

A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with a lifelong passion for historic architecture, Andrew Michell brings over 45 years of commercial property experience to the Charity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Land Management and has held senior leadership roles throughout his career, including serving as a main board director for a publicly quoted property company.

Most recently, Andrew has served as CEO for several property companies (Propcos), leveraging his expertise in development and finance. Now semi-retired and acting as an investment consultant, Andrew dedicates his time to local heritage projects. Andrew and his wife Kirsteen are the owners of Applegarth House BnB, where they live. They led the campaign to preserve the church by reaching out to families with deep-rooted links to the area and the wider community. They also did much of the early work to complete the purchase and establish the SCIO. 

He provides the Charity with vital oversight on financial management and property development, while his close proximity allows him to manage the practical, day-to-day needs of the church.

Imogen Lawrence is a Life Member of the Jardine Clan, a connection she has proudly upheld for more than twenty five years since her mother first attended a clan gathering in Scotland. Her professional career spans five decades, beginning in social work and clinical psychology before progressing into senior consulting leadership roles.

Imogen served as Chief Executive Officer of the largest mental health charity in the Johannesburg metropolitan area, where she led major programmes in service development, advocacy, and community support. After relocating to the United Kingdom twenty years ago, she continued her commitment to the voluntary sector.

In parallel with her charitable work, Imogen built a successful international career in business consulting, supporting organisations across multiple sectors until her recent retirement. She brings to the Friends of Applegarth Church substantial experience in governance, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and community development, together with a deep personal commitment to the heritage of the Jardine Clan and the preservation of Applegarth Church.

Kyle Robert Jardine's commitment to Jardine family heritage was instilled by his grandfather, Bob Jardine, and his parents by prioritizing family reunions, sharing stories of their ancestors, and visiting cemeteries and other family history sites. Kyle, his wife Aliese, and their children live in Arizona, USA. Kyle represents his wider family and the international portion of the board, focusing on honoring the church's past while securing its future as a community center both locally and globally.

Professionally, Kyle brings extensive experience in real estate development and community engagement. His experience includes ground-up development, adaptive reuse, and acquisitions. His work in complex community based projects brings a unique skill set to help preserve and activate the Applegarth Church and surrounding area.

Kyle has a Bachelor of Science in Facility and Property Management and a Master of Business Administration. He serves on the board of multiple non-profits, participates with student mentoring, and is actively involved in his local church congregation. Kyle is committed to applying his strategic planning, project execution, and community building abilities to ensuring the Friends of Applegarth Church SCIO is successful for generations to come.
